Job summary

Encore is seeking a hands-on Events Technician to help set up, operate, and strike audiovisual equipment for live events. You will collaborate with the team to ensure flawless execution from load-in to breakdown, delivering reliable tech support under time pressures.

Ideal candidates bring at least a year of customer service or hospitality experience and AV exposure, with a valid driver’s license for transport tasks. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Handles equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
• Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met, and the equipment setup is working properly.
• Load, unload, or store gear and equipment, as needed.
