Job summary

KF Aerospace is based in Richmond, BC, and seeks an ATR 72 captain to join the YVR base to support the Purolator BC Feeder Service as we transition to ATR 72-500. Preference for ATR 72 qualified captains, offering strong job security and a stable schedule.

The role features a signing bonus and a typical month of 12–14 flight days, with weekends off and holidays. Candidates will hold ATPL, multi-engine and Group 1 instrument ratings and meet travel, RAIC and passport requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Canadian ATPL.
• Multi-engine and Group 1 Instrument ratings required.
• Preference for turbine or turbojet transport category experience.
• Must possess a valid Canadian passport or work permit.
• Able to obtain and retain RAIC.
• Willing to travel internationally within KF network.

Responsibilities

• Pilot duties for Purolator BC Feeder Service contract.
• Operate routes YVR–YYJ, YVR–YKA, YVR–YXS and YVR–YLW with daily return to YVR.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking Captain applications for our YVR Base, with preference given to ATR 72 Qualified Captains as we transition to a fleet of ATR 72-500 aircraft.

This position offers great job security supporting our Purolator BC Feeder Service contract extended until 2035. The program operates routes Monday to Friday from YVR to YYJ, YVR to YKA and YXS, and YVR to YLW (returning to YVR each evening).

This position also offers a great work-life balance providing most weekends and statutory holidays off with the typical flying schedule is 12-14 days per month.

SIGNING BONUS

We are pleased to offer the successful candidate a signing bonus.

Signing Bonus - $5,000.00

AT72 Valid PPC within the last 24 months - $10,000.00

AT72 Valid PPC - $20,000.00

Signing Bonus would be payable as follows:

• 25% payable on completion of line indoctrination


• 25% payable at 1-year Anniversary


• 50% payable at 2-year Anniversary

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)


• Multi Engine and Group 1 Instrument Ratings


• Preference will be given to applicants having transport category turbine or turbojet experience


• A Valid Canadian Passport or Canadian work permit


• Must be able to obtain and retain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)


• Ability to travel/operate to the United States, and any other countries within our network


• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted


• Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
