Lekadir LLP is seeking a Manager to oversee assurance and accounting engagements, ensuring quality service and adherence to ASPE standards. You will mentor junior staff, manage deadlines, and build strong client relationships to expand our service offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in public accounting with CPA exam progress.
• CPA designation or active hours toward certification required.
• Experience in audit and assurance engagements and leading teams.
• Strong client-service mindset and ability to add value.
• ASPE knowledge required; familiarity with private enterprises.
• Experience with Caseware and Taxprep is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a client-focused environment.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, and strong organizational skills.
• Proactive team player with ability to work independently and with a team.
• Experience in business development and client retention.

Responsibilities

• Managing assurance and accounting engagements, including tax filings, with paperless infrastructure.
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff on engagements.
• Identifying and resolving engagement issues promptly.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships and seeking new service opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Providing insights to clients to support business goals.
• Helping develop and implement best practices within the team.
• Supporting business development to attract new clients.
