Job summary

Giant Tiger in Canada is seeking a Store Operations Associate to support daily store functions and ensure smooth operations. You will balance cash, prepare deposits, and assist with pricing, labeling, and RF unit tasks.

You’ll help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, follow health and safety guidelines, and contribute to loss prevention. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules available.

About This Role:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for balancing the cash registers;
• Preparing bank deposits and entering information for daily cash report;
• Training associates on SKU / pricing related issues, printing signs and labels and operating the RF unit;
• Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of perpetual inventory and product pricing.;
• Prepare and participate in cycle counts;
• Following the best practices when receiving and processing merchandise;
• Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed;
• Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed.

What You’ll Bring:

When You’ll Work: A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
