The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice veterinary medicine and possess experience with companion and exotic animals. Qualifications

Associate Veterinarian

Gander Veterinary Clinic is a full‑service companion animal veterinary practice located at 26 Roe Avenue, Gander, Newfoundland & Labrador. The clinic has been serving the region for over 30 years and offers a wide range of services including surgical, medical, dental, and exotic animal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care, routine examinations, and health maintenance for cats, dogs, and exotic animals.
• Perform diagnostic testing using in‑house laboratory equipment, digital X‑ray, ultrasound, and other modalities.
• Conduct surgical procedures and provide post‑operative care, including laser therapy.
• Educate clients and build solid relationships with patients’ families.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensed (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Newfoundland and Labrador.
• One year of veterinary experience preferred.
• Experience with exotic animals a bonus.
• Willingness and ability to perform surgeries.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills when dealing with clients and team members.
