Oakbank Animal Hospital, part of VetStrategy, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit team serving rural Manitoba communities near Winnipeg.

You’ll manage a diverse small animal caseload, gain exposure to equine and hobby farm medicine, perform surgeries, and use modern diagnostics while enjoying mentorship and a welcoming work culture.

New graduates welcome; on-call shifts and weekend rotations are part of the schedule. Competitive pay, CE support, and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university.
• Eligible for Manitoba veterinary licensure.
• Passionate about veterinary medicine and providing excellent patient care.
• Willingness to participate in on-call shifts and weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality preventative, medical, and surgical care.
• Work with a diverse small animal caseload.
• Gain exposure to equine and hobby farm medicine.
• Perform routine surgeries and dentistry.
• Utilize modern diagnostic equipment.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotation.
• Learn from experienced colleagues and continue developing your clinical skills.
