Job summary

VetStrategy operates a network of veterinary clinics in Ottawa offering state-of-the-art facilities and technology, including laparoscopy and surgical laser. We invite a skilled veterinarian to join a large hospital with a strong focus on patient care and client service.

You will collaborate with a team of passionate professionals across clinics, treating a wide range of cases, including exotics and pocket pets, while engaging in CE and community initiatives through our Care Fund.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and licensed to practice in Canada.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical veterinary experience.
• Excellent client communication and empathy.
• Ability to build trustful client relationships.
• Team-oriented with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care across a broad caseload.
• Collaborate with an experienced team on diagnostics and treatment plans.
• Support exotics and pocket pets alongside standard cases.

What You Bring

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ yrs of experience.
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving veterinary practices and technologies.
• Capable of handling a variety of cases and situations with composure and professionalism.
• Relationships are important to you. You easily build strong and trusting relationships with clients, so they come back to see you repeatedly.
• Effective communication: You understand the importance of client relationship management and education in promoting animal health and can remain composed during challenging situations.
• Empathy for animals and their owners is a must.
• You work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment- Everyone on the team is important and has a voice.
