Job summary

Riverside Small Animal Hospital in Kamloops, BC is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative team of six veterinarians and dedicated support staff. The role offers an alternating 4-day/3-day work week, prioritizing work-life balance while handling a wide range of cases.

You'll work in a modern hospital equipped for soft-tissue, orthopedic, and dental surgeries, with special interests in chemotherapy, laparoscopy, endoscopy, internal medicine, and ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Must have valid DVM degree and veterinary license to practice in Canada.
• Experience with small animal medicine and surgeries.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate medical care to a diverse client base of small animals.
• Perform soft-tissue, orthopedic, and dental surgeries as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality patient care and client communication.

We also have special interests in chemotherapy, laparoscopy, endoscopy, internal medicine, therapeutic laser, ultrasound, and more. You’ll be joining a team of 6 veterinarians and nearly 30 dedicated support staff who value teamwork, communication, and a positive culture.
