Candidates Must
  • Have graduated no earlier than 2023, and will be graduating no later than 2025
  • Have an Associate’s Degree, College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree by date of Employment (Exception: This program does not accept MBA or PhD candidates or graduates)
  • Have no more than 2 years of full‑time professional related work experience
  • Be eligible to work in Canada without current or future needs for visa sponsorship (Valid work permit, PR, or Canadian citizenship)
  • Be willing and able to live and work in Nova Scotia, with minimal travel anticipated
  • Must be eligible for clearance and have lived in Canada for 5‑10 years

Since 2013 our SAP practice has nurtured the careers of our new graduates from entry‑level independent consultants to roles in leadership positions. You will have support from multiple years of previous new graduates who have grown their careers within the IBM SAP practice and can provide mentorship. We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented SAP Functional consultant to join our team in Halifax & Calgary. SAP Practice has grown to 300+ SAP Professionals across Halifax, Calgary and Montreal CIC locations.

Work with business teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Assist in configuring SAP FIN FI solutions to meet business needs.

Work with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to SAP modules.

Support day‑to‑day operations and resolve functional issues within SAP systems.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Work closely with other teams (Business and Technical) to ensure seamless delivery of projects and services.

Participate in SAP system implementations, rollouts, and enhancement projects.

Support internal audits and compliance initiatives related to SAP systems.

Stay current with SAP product developments, enhancements, and best practices to ensure continuous learning and growth.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

You have the ability to work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for our highly valued customers. You have strong Excel skills and enjoy making meaningful evaluations of a given set of data tables, Excel files, etc.

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Computer Science).

Best to have knowledge of at least one SAP module (e.g., Finance, Material Management, Sales and Distribution, Logistics/Procurement).

You enjoy working in a team environment with team members of a diverse background and skill set, along with being comfortable working on your own to complete individual assigned tasks.

You enjoy working with the public and have demonstrated excellent customer experience skills. You will have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and executives.

You have the ability to learn new processes, coach and direct team members. You enjoy problem solving and delivering innovative solutions to complex problems that address client needs.

You are great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing and implementing solutions to complex functional issues.

Knowledge of compliance regulations & industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

You have basic knowledge or hands‑on experience in one or more of the following technology areas: Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, DevOps, Adobe.
