Associate Portfolio Manager (APM) – Key Markets

Key Responsibilities
  • Support product lifecycle management research and go‑to‑market execution across Advanced Career Training (ACT) catalogs for Trades, Business, Legal and Advanced Manufacturing.
  • Contribute to Canadian market expansion and Spanish/ELL program initiatives while maintaining core catalog ownership and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Conduct bilingual competitive and market research to advise strategy and localization needs.
  • Draft and support Product Strategy Documents (PSDs), Product Launch Documents and other product planning materials.
  • Partner with Learning Designers, SMEs and vendors to ensure course quality and relevance.
  • Represent PMs in meetings; support data analysis, launch logistics, pricing models and ROI planning.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on product launches, enablement materials, roadmap visibility and catalog insights.
  • Assist with third‑party vendor (3PV) reviews, onboarding, SOWs, content and CRM updates.
  • Provide insights on 3PV content viability for international expansion.
What This Role is Not

The Associate Portfolio Manager (APM) role at ed2go is distinct from Technical Product Management (TPM). While our TPM team focuses on internal and customer‑facing applications, user stories, UX / UI design and the customer journey, this role is centered on managing our course catalog, making build / buy decisions, supporting GTM strategies and driving the success of our career training programs. The APM will work closely with cross‑functional teams to conduct market research, analyze course performance and contribute to portfolio strategy, not software or feature development.

Skills You’ll Need
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written); French preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to synthesize structured and unstructured data into actionable strategies.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Excellent written communication, including Spanish/English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Self‑management and ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset and cross‑functional teamwork.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in product, project or program management, or policy/compliance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and Smartsheet (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SEO, competitive intelligence and localization practices (plus).
  • Experience in education, workforce development or bilingual content development highly valued.

Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
