Job summary

Specsavers Thunderbird Centre in Langley, BC is seeking an associate optometrist to join their thriving clinic. This role offers 1–2 flexible days per week with the busiest days Thursday to Saturday, alongside a supportive team and independent practice autonomy.

You’ll work with Dr. Anita Dhaliwal to deliver high-quality eye care using modern equipment (Tonoref 3, lensometer, slit lamp) and build lasting relationships with patients.

Qualifications

  • OD degree with eligibility to practice in British Columbia.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and eyecare services.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a private, independent clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye examens using advanced equipment.
  • Collaborate with Specsavers team to ensure outstanding patient care.
  • Counsel patients and provide follow-up and treatment recommendations.
  • Coordinate pre-testing and ensure reports are ready for exams.

Your opportunity and practice

Offering eye exams when patients need themstarts with having the right team in each of our optometrist-owned and operated clinics. By joining an independent Optometry Partner and a team of passionate eyecare professionals,you’llmake a meaningful impact on eye health in the community.

This clinic is seeking coverage for 1–2 flexible days per week, with the opportunity to pick up additional days as needed, and the busiest days falling between Thurs-Sat. You’ll work alongside Dr. Anita Dhaliwal, a community focused optometrist who prioritizes building strong patient relationships and delivering high-quality care.
