Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Associate Optometrist to lead patient care and elevate the in-store eye care experience. You will perform clinical protocols, manage KPIs with the MOD and store team, and support medical practices, referrals, and pre/post-op care where applicable.

The role emphasizes patient-first service, professional collaboration, ongoing education, and maintaining licensure while leveraging available technology to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry with current license to practice.
  • Commitment to quality patient care.
  • Knowledge of Medical Optometry including Billing and Coding.
  • Knowledge of Surgical Care and practices pertaining to Optometry.
  • Knowledge of current Optometric theory & technology.
  • Strong communicator & listener.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Solid Organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with KPI management and outcomes in partnership with MOD and store team.
  • Place the patient first and deliver excellent service.
  • Collaborate with MOD, SMM and local market.
  • Provide medical practice, referral care and pre/post-op support (if applicable).
  • Maintain Doctor/Patient relationships and licensing obligations.
  • Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.
