Collaborative Partnerships: Engage with diverse business units to drive category success. Manage and resolve store inquiries in collaboration with operators to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.
Vendor Relations: Build strong partnerships with vendors and external partners that fuel growth and innovation.
Promotional Excellence: Support the execution of pricing and promotional strategies, ensuring accuracy and timely implementation, including data‑entry, data‑integrity management, flyer/digital/instore advertising accuracy, vendor income collection, inventory management, store communications and retail pricing.
Data‑Driven Insights: Leverage analytics to provide strategic insights on category performance for your Merchant(s) and Category Director. This includes analyzing trends, reviewing competitive activity, and utilizing both internal and external reporting tools to deliver actionable recommendations that drive informed decision‑making and category growth.
Product Planning: Collaborate with the Merchants to help build product assortment planning and coordinate planogram executions while maintaining impeccable data integrity.
Financial Oversight: Manage the financial activity of the category including managing vendor income billings, conducting analysis, and collaborating with Merchant(s), vendor(s) and finance team to investigate and resolve income inquiries.
Vendor Support: Guide vendors through onboarding processes smoothly while managing transitions or cost changes effortlessly.
Innovative Contributions: Actively participate in vendor program meetings; evaluate new private label products or platform innovations that set us apart from competitors.
