A leading technology and logistics company in Toronto is seeking a high-level operator to lead its Merchant operations function. The ideal candidate will drive product adoption, understand merchant challenges, and lead cross-functional projects. Requirements include 4+ years in business development or operations, strong communication skills, and proficiency in data tools like Excel and SQL. This role offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment.
DoorDash's mission is to grow and empower local economies. By building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local cities, DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about – helping grow business and the communities that support those businesses.
We’re looking for a high level operator with strong cross-functional skills and bias for action to lead DoorDash Canada’s Merchant operations function, driving best-in‑class quality and merchant functionality across the country.
This role will be the connective tissue between the Canadian team and Core team and ensure our products, features, and processes are on the cutting edge, giving Merchants the best experience possible. You will ensure all merchants have strong operational fundamentals, diagnose specific Canadian merchant problems, and roll out products and features to Canada.
This role requires a highly detailed and organized operator who is used to working cross-functionally with other teams, and is able to build strong relationships and influence others to get the job done. In the absence of support, you will find a way to do it yourself through AI. You thrive at the intersection of data, relationships and execution.
We’re seeking someone who’s data-driven, a hands‑on operator, relationship‑oriented, and eager to make a tangible impact in one of DoorDash’s fastest-growing regions.
