A boutique law firm in Toronto is seeking an Associate Lawyer to work on professional regulation and workplace law. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience and will assist as co-counsel on larger files while also having the opportunity to manage their own cases. Competitive salaries, profit-sharing, and a supportive culture are offered, along with flexible hybrid work arrangements.
We are inviting applications from lawyers in the 1-5 year range of practice, but we are open to hearing from those with more or less experience. We are a boutique law firm specializing in professional regulation and workplace law. Our primary practice area is representing regulators in regulatory litigation before tribunals and courts. We also represent regulated professionals and licensed businesses in regulatory matters and assist with employment and human rights issues. This role offers opportunities to work on interesting legal issues while also advancing issues of public interest.
We are looking for a lawyer who can assist as co-counsel on larger files and eventually run their own files independently. Experience in prosecutions, professional regulation, employment or administrative law is an asset.
