About the Opportunity

Pushor Mitchell LLP is looking for a full‑time Associate Lawyer, Litigation based in Kelowna, BC.

Reporting to senior partners within the Litigation Group, this role is responsible for managing a variety of litigation files, while providing strategic legal advice and contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence and community engagement.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing litigation files in commercial, construction, employment, real estate, personal injury, and civil matters
  • Taking ownership of files from initial research through to drafting, negotiations, and court appearances
  • Developing litigation strategies that align with client objectives and firm standards
  • Collaborating with senior lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Providing cost‑effective, results‑oriented legal advice to clients
  • Engaging in client relationship management and business development activities
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members as opportunities arise
  • Maintaining professionalism and composure in high‑pressure or emotionally charged situations
  • Demonstrating initiative while seeking feedback and guidance from senior counsel

About You

To qualify, you will need to be a member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia (or eligible to transfer from another Canadian law society). A minimum of four years of relevant litigation experience in civil, commercial, or related practice areas will also be essential.
