Job summary

Canaccord Genuity Corp. in Edmonton is seeking an energetic, organized and detail-oriented individual to join a growing advisory team. You will work with Investment Advisors to deepen client relationships and build a sustainable wealth management business.

You will participate in client meetings, prepare financial planning documents, and assist in planning, implementation and ongoing maintenance of accounts, while supporting business development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services.
• Strong interest in becoming a Financial Planner in an advisory role.
• Progress toward or completion of CFP/QAFP is an asset.
• Excellent communication and a client-first mindset.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with a team of Investment Advisors focused on client relationships and wealth management.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to discovery, planning and implementation.
• Prepare financial planning documents and investment proposals and follow up with clients.
