Job summary

RBC Capital Markets is seeking a Trade Data Engineer in Toronto to define strategy, lead execution and deliver AI-ready data capabilities across the data platform.

You will partner with Front Office, Operations, Risk and Finance to establish target architectures, roadmaps and governance, while mentoring teams and driving value realization through scalable data products.

You will champion cloud, ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to the data strategy that supports business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of Capital Markets experience.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale transformation.

Build scalable trade data platforms. This role is part of RBC Capital Markets Data Strategy & Execution and is responsible for delivering trusted, governed, AI-ready data capabilities.

The Trade Data Engineer will define strategy, lead execution, partner across business and technology, and deliver measurable business value through modern data capabilities.
