Who are you?

You are an experienced Associate Director specialising in M&E cost management with a minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience looking for a new and exciting opportunity or a seasoned Senior Consultant ready for the next step.

Job Description
  • Deliver a high-quality end-to-end cost management service, including the production of cost estimates in CIQS and Uniformat (ROM and Class D through Class A), value management, procurement advice and support, tender analysis, cost reporting, and change management.
  • Lead and mentor an M&E cost management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality M&E cost management services to our clients.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential Turner & Townsend clients.
  • Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities.
  • Lead proposals for new work or variations for existing commissions.
  • Participate in staff management, including recruitment interviews and performance reviews.
  • Oversee financial management, utilizing tools to track margin levels and maintain monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission.
Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • >10 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on M&E systems.
  • A recognized university degree. If the degree has been obtained outside of Canada, a Canadian equivalency certificate is required.
  • Certification in relevant professional organizations (PQS or MRICS).
  • Have in place, or the ability to quickly obtain Government of Canada security clearance (minimum Reliability Level).
  • Quantity Surveying experience on a minimum of two Real Property projects valued at >$100M.
  • Relevant experience in providing end‑to‑end quantity surveying services.
  • Strong capability in quality assurance for deliverables.

Desirable skills

  • People management, having experience being a line manager.
  • Experience in earned value management.
  • Experience in Power BI dashboard production.
  • Working knowledge of Revit.
  • Working knowledge of CostX.
