Overview

Associate Director Media Strategy and Planning at Orca Pacific : A Monks Company.

In the Associate Director, Media Strategy & Planning position, you will help to shape and execute online marketing strategies, develop and optimize highly effective paid campaigns across media channels, with the goal to increase customer base and engagement. This role partners with client managers and innovation leaders from a major technology client. The ideal candidate is a senior digital marketing leader with experience across all facets of digital marketing, a fast and flexible go-getter with a natural aptitude for collaboration. Humility and collaboration are also a big part of their DNA.

At this time, all positions are exclusively work from home. When office operations resume, time will be spent in our office, with frequency subject to business needs and health considerations.

Responsibilities
  • Strategically lead complex media programs for a diverse, global client portfolio, delivering insightful recommendations and action plans that drive high ROI
  • Manage resources across a global portfolio of paid media programs
  • Develop comprehensive media strategies and tactically execute online customer acquisition campaigns aligned with client goals
  • Lead and execute large-scale paid media campaigns across Google Ads, social media channels, and programmatic platforms
  • Provide ongoing management and optimization of campaigns with emphasis on tracking, automation, script creation and reporting
  • Analyze, review and present Quarterly Business Reviews to stakeholders and identify growth opportunities for the account
  • Mentor the team to develop and execute online customer acquisition strategies and campaigns
  • Be responsible for team-wide performance metrics on large-scale paid campaigns
  • Lead strategy and recommendations for customer experience testing and optimizations across the customer journey (ad creative, placement, landing pages, forms, post-conversion relationship, A / B and multivariate testing)
  • Collaborate with multiple clients to meet goals and partner with cross-channel leads for integrated campaign development
  • Oversee client financials and account profitability
  • Mentor, manage, and grow direct reports
About You
  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience with deep expertise in Google Ads and Social Media campaign management
  • End-to-end management of digital media campaigns
  • Exceptional presentation skills and ability to present data to clients
  • Proactive, disciplined, organized, self-starter, and able to manage uncertainty and work independently
  • Excellent leadership, management and organizational skills
  • Strong cross-functional communication within a high-energy team
  • Strategic thinking for complex issues, delivering thoughtful recommendations and high-ROI campaigns
Not a Must, But a Plus
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance and analytical success
  • Subject matter expert on programmatic media with knowledge of ad tech platforms (DMP, SSPs, Ad Servers)
