Job description

The Debt Services department within MUFG Investor Services supports internal and external clients for all their Loan Administration needs. The department focuses on the Debt Asset class and caters for all the set up maintenance and activity associated for all Debt instruments.

The Associate Director is a leader responsible for managing the performance of an operations team and maintaining strong client relationships. This role oversees daily operations to ensure service level agreements are met and quality standards are upheld.

Reporting directly to the Director Nexus Debt Services the Associate Director plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency and team success.

  • Lead daily operations to ensure SLAs are met in an efficient manner.
  • Perform reviews on setups and credit agreements or any other deliverables for the operations team.
  • Lead client relationships and be a point of escalation.
  • Fulfil or review ad hoc client requests.
  • Participate in new service development and support new service rollouts.
  • Participate in and manage projects to enhance the overall service offering.
  • Support client escalations from the operations team and navigate to a resolution.
  • Involve in communications with external parties support current clients on regular calls and represent our brand.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in fund administration or relevant financial services in private credit.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of loan operations documentation and accounting practices.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Sentry as a Debt Administration platform is preferable but not essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in a supervisory role.
  • Working level of internal and external presentation skills.
