A leading global healthcare firm in Canada seeks an Associate Director of Finance. This role is pivotal in supporting financial governance and operational excellence across the organization. The successful candidate will lead financial processes, mentor team members, and engage with clients to ensure financial integrity throughout projects. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 12 years of finance experience are required, along with strong knowledge of the CRO industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in finance or a related discipline.
• CPA, MBA, and/or PMP certification preferred.
• CRO or pharmaceutical industry experience in project finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain financial controls.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support for Financial Analysts.
• Monitor project budget health and identify areas for margin improvement.

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles

Excellent communication skills
