Job summary

Mercato Dental Centre in Vancouver is seeking an Associate Dentist for a part-time role (Tuesdays and Saturdays). You will join an established practice with a strong patient base, modern technology, six operatories, CBCT, CEREC, and a collaborative, supportive team.

The ideal candidate holds a BDS/DDS/DMD or equivalent, is eligible to register with the BCCOHP, and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while working closely with RDHs and CDAs and the supervising dentist

Qualifications

• Must hold a dental degree from an accredited program.
• Eligible to register with BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP).
• Strong communication and patient-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive preventive and restorative dental treatments.
• Develop and discuss treatment plans with patients and the team.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a dentist who is passionate about patient care, enjoys building trusted relationships, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A BDS, DDS, or DMD from an accredited university program, or successful completion of the NDEB equivalency process.
• Registration with, or eligibility to register with, the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP).
• Eligibility to practise dentistry in British Columbia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to help patients feel comfortable and confident in their care.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the dental team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered dental care.
