Driftwood Dental in Courtenay, BC seeks an Associate Dentist to join a high-volume, full-scope practice on Vancouver Island. Dentalcorp supports advanced care, sedation dentistry, and a collaborative team culture.

Open to new graduates, the role offers mentorship, exposure to implants, and a steady patient flow with a schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The clinic prides itself on comprehensive care and family-friendly service.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree required or equivalent.
• Registered in good standing in Canada or eligible to be licensed.
• Current CPR certification.
• Eligibility to work in Canada and meet provincial licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and execute treatment plans including restorative and preventive care.
• Perform fillings, extractions, root canals and related procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dental team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and execute treatment plans to address patient needs, including restorative and preventive care.
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with dental professionals and manage patient care for optimal oral health outcomes.

About You:

• Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
• Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
• Valid CPR certification
