Job summary

Ontinue is seeking an Associate Cyber Defender to join our Cyber Defense Center. You will detect and respond to threats across the full stack—from identity to endpoint, network, and cloud—conducting end-to-end investigations and driving quality responses.

You will assist in developing internal processes, collaborate with CDC teams to improve automation, and stay curious by expanding your skills. Follow-the-Sun coverage and on-call duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Security or Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with security tools like EDR and SIEM.
• Reliable character, self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of a Microsoft Security Stack would be an asset.
• Relevant security certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Detect and respond to threats in our Cyber Defense Center (SOC) by performing end-to-end investigations.
• Assist with the development and implementation of internal processes.
• Collaborate with different CDC teams to drive continuous improvement and automation.
• Remain curious and keep growing your skills and capabilities.
• Willingness to work in a Follow the Sun support model and on-call (including off-hours and holidays) as part of a Global Cyber Defense Center team.
