The Field Services Business Intelligence (FSBI) team provides productivity and service reporting that helps Field meet their financial and service goals and build applications like MyCrew and Insights that help highlight opportunities for managers to provide effective coaching. The Field Services Business Intelligence (FSBI) now has the ability to monitor the Wi‑Fi signal quality for all our customers wireless devices and can proactively action those with a poor experience. All underpinned by the largest dataset in Field Services Business Intelligence (FSBI) at over 120 billion records consuming over 20 TB. Trained a ML model to identify the worst copper cables in network that need to be repaired or removed so we have a fast ROI and improve the Tester and Technology experience.

Job Duties / Accountabilities
  • Monitoring: Ensure system availability and stability; perform troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Deployment: Configure and deploy applications, adhering to user‑defined availability windows for application uptime
  • Security: Remediate system vulnerabilities; apply patches in a test environment before deploying to production
  • Data Management: Verify backups, manage storage, purge temporary information, create and test disaster recovery plans (DRP)
  • Governance: Manage system access according to environments and user categories, in compliance with company security policies
  • System Lifecycle: Plan the system lifecycle in collaboration with infrastructure architects
  • Documentation: Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of system applications and configurations
  • College Diploma and/or Studies in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server, SQL Server, and IIS administration
  • Knowledge of English required
    • Maintaining professional relationships with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada is critical to this position
  • Adept communication skills in English (oral and written)
  • Keen eye for detail and precision
  • Team‑oriented, dynamic, and highly motivated
  • Ability to handle responsibilities, make rapid decisions, and consistently meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies
  • Adept communication skills in French (for Ontario)
  • Experience with Windows Server 2016 or later
  • Experience with SQL Server 2016 or later
  • Knowledge of Linux
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes containers and the CI/CD process
  • Experience with SQL, PowerShell and DOS command programming languages
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes (OLAP)
  • Knowledge of operational group processes (an asset)
Working Conditions
  • Occasional non‑standard hours required for system maintenance
  • Occasional overtime depending on the business needs

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
