Name and description of the hiring department

The Field Services Business Intelligence team resides within Field Services and is responsible for developing, maintaining, and using data to drive insights on the customer experience and the productivity of all field forces. We are looking for an Associate Computer Application Support to join our innovative team. This position offers a balanced workload between backend development using .NET / C# and frontend development with React / Next.js / TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of backend and frontend technologies, and will demonstrate a willingness to learn while contributing to our mission of delivering high‑quality web applications.

Job Duties / Accountabilities
  • Develop business intelligence solutions including scorecards, dashboards, and web tools for service, productivity, fleet and customer experience
  • Implement solutions to guarantee data quality (availability and reliability) and follow defined documentation standards
  • Design and develop scalable applications, APIs, and microservices while working with databases
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle while collaborating with design and product teams
  • Continuously expand technical knowledge through training while performing code reviews
  • Design and develop scalable applications and microservices while working with databases
  • Implement data access solutions, design database schemas, and write optimized queries
  • Build responsive and interactive user interfaces while implementing state management solutions
  • Write clean, secure, efficient code with proper documentation while ensuring security and performance best practices
Essential Qualifications / Competencies
  • 2‑3 years of experience in a related field
  • University or College degree in computer sciences
  • Good knowledge with TypeScript and C#
  • Experience with .NET development (ASP.NET Core)
  • Experience with React, Next.js and modern JavaScript
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, including proper endpoint structure, HTTP methods, and authentication protocols
  • Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, etc)
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Hands‑on experience working with AI agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools is required
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Seeking a passionate developer with an insatiable curiosity, demonstrated ability to independently master new technologies, and enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges that push the boundaries of their skillset
  • Knowledge of English and French required
    • Maintaining professional relationships with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada is critical to this position
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • CI/CD implementation experience
  • Performance optimization techniques for web applications
