A leading marketing firm located in Toronto is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to assist in the development and execution of brand marketing strategies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing trade marketing initiatives. Candidates should have over 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within consumer packaged goods (CPG), and a strong educational background in business with a focus on marketing.

Qualifications

  • Over 2 years of marketing experience within CPG is a big plus.
  • Experience developing brand plans and controlling budgets.
  • Experience in analytics and consumer research with an understanding of consumer behavior.

Calling all passionate Associate Brand Managers to the table!! MoD is on the hunt for an amazing opportunity with a leading client of ours. In this role you will assist with the development and execution of key strategies and implement their annual brand marketing plans. Be a key member of their Marketing team!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business reviews and brand plans
  • Play a key role in the development and implementation of innovation and various projects, working with cross functional teams
  • Continuous analysis of market, category and brand performance as required
  • Support the development and implementation of commercial plans working collaboratively with various teams
  • Responsible for the development of project schedules; work closely with suppliers, partners, and cross functional teams
  • Manage all trade marketing initiatives
  • Various administrative functions required (manage brand budgets, make recommendations, upload customer programming, etc.)
Key Skills:
  • University Degree in Business, specialization in Marketing is a strong asset
  • Over 2 years of marketing experience within CPG is a big plus
  • Experience developing brand plans and controlling budgets
  • Experience in analytics and consumer research with a good understanding of consumer behavior, usage and attitudes
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
