A leading industrial automation firm in Mississauga seeks a Technical Support Specialist to provide pre-sales and post-sales support for their products. The successful candidate will apply technical knowledge, conduct application testing, and create training materials. Strong communications skills and a degree in engineering are required. This position requires an individual who will apply their knowledge of KEYENCE products and peripheral devices to support pre‑sales validation and post‑sales implementation activities at a highly technical level. These activities include application testing and development to find the right hardware and/or software solution, as well as troubleshooting complex support cases. The candidate will be required to perform a wide variety of tasks to help achieve the continuous business growth of the company. Such tasks include product training, creation of support resources as well as technical marketing material.
The candidate must possess strong communication skills, including active listening. Excellent prioritization and customer service abilities are key elements to succeed in this position.
