As an Associate Advisor, you will work with an Investment Advisor team to provide proactive advice and support, deepen client relationships, and welcome new clients to the firm. You will help identify opportunities and grow the business while coordinating with Wealth Management specialists.

Qualifications

• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
• 2+ years of professional experience within the investment industry in a similar role.
• Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and Retail Securities Exam.
• University degree.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Leverage planning to facilitate meetings and events with clients.
• Provide proactive client service and coordinate with departments for timely solutions.
• Respond to client account inquiries and follow up diligently.
• Help build business plans and client service plans.
• Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals.
• Support advisory team with new client acquisition.
• Nurture relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.
• Support trading and portfolio rebalancing.
• Conduct market research and provide updates to the advisory team.
• Coordinate Wealth Management activities and manage documentation.
