Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities Moncton branch is seeking an Associate Advisor to work with an Investment Advisor team, providing proactive advice and support to clients and the Investment Advisor, helping deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm.

You will identify opportunities and help grow the business while nurturing relationships with Centers of Influence and RBC partners, coordinating activities and managing documentation throughout the Wealth Management process.

Qualifications

• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
• Completed Wealth Management Essentials (WME) or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
• University degree.
• Excellent written and verbal English and French communication.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute business plans, client service plans.
• Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals.
• Grow client base by leveraging RBC's brand and serving high-net-worth individuals.
• Manage relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.
• Support advisory team and clients throughout Wealth Management; coordinate with internal specialists, manage documentation, track progress.

The Moncton RBC Dominion Securities branch is seeking talented, self-directed individuals with a growth- and goals-oriented mindset to join us in our pursuit of helping our clients thrive and communities prosper. As an Associate Advisor, you will work with an Investment Advisor team and be responsible for providing proactive advice and support to our clients and the Investment Advisor, helping deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the business will be a key and exciting part of your role.

What will you do?

• Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans.
• Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base.
• Lean on RBC Dominion Securities' strong brand and reputation to build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners and manage their complex financial needs.
• Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.
• Support both the advisory team and our clients throughout the Wealth Management process. Coordinate activities with internal Wealth Management specialists, manage documentation, track progress and follow up.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO
• Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT)
• University degree
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite

Nice-to-have

• 4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly developed client service skills
