Job summary

A national insurance brokerage in Vancouver is looking for an experienced Group Benefits professional to manage an existing client base and drive new business. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience and will enjoy benefits such as a competitive salary, extensive vacation time, and a hybrid working model. Responsibilities include client management and leading employee training on benefits coverage.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in Group Benefit space.
  • Working experience in a brokerage or TPA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a block of business of roughly 30 to 40 clients.
  • Negotiate quotes and prepare renewals for clients.
  • Lead employee training sessions on group benefit coverage.
  • Work with the service team to manage administration.
  • Secure new business opportunities from internal leads.

Our client, a nationally recognized insurance brokerage headquartered in Vancouver, is seeking an experienced Group Benefits professional to join their growing team in BC. Known for its award-winning service and comprehensive coverage offerings, this brokerage has built a strong reputation across Canada.

In this hybrid role of both Account Manager and Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing an existing block of Group Benefits business, while also supporting client relationships and renewal processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a block of business of roughly 30 to 40 clients and retain the customers
  • Negotiate the quote, prepare and present the renewals to the clients
  • Take the lead in employee training/ information session on their group benefit coverage
  • Work with the service team to manage the administration side
  • Secure new business opportunities that are coming in from internal leads

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in Group Benefit space
  • Working experience in a brokerage or TPA
