Pomerleau is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join the Building Operations team in Canada. You will sponsor safety, quality, and cost control on large-scale building projects, influencing schedules and collaborating with trades and consultants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience.
• Construction-related certificate, diploma or degree, or strong relevant experience.
• Proven track record of project success and promoting team collaboration.
• Experience managing safety regulations, scheduling, quality and cost control.
• Ability to implement creative solutions.
• Proficient with computers and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Champion health and safety on all job sites and ensure compliance with standards.
• Proactively manage project materials to support quality program.
• Mentor on-site teams and foster collaboration, excellence and success.
• Collaborate with trade partners and consultants to drive the schedule.
• Recommend methods to boost efficiency and project outcomes.
• Support site start-up and client coordination meetings.
• Receive materials and ensure adherence to building codes.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory for projects.
