Cabot Link at Inverness Limited Partnership seeks a Golf Course Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent and lead turf maintenance teams at Cabot Cape Breton. The role focuses on creating superior course conditions for resort guests and coordinating daily activities with strong attention to safety and quality.

The candidate should bring leadership experience in golf course management, a turfgrass science background, and a commitment to Cabot's standards.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in turfgrass science or related field.
• 3+ years in a similar golf management role.

Responsibilities

• Train and oversee scheduling of turf maintenance staff.
• Oversee maintenance schedules for all turf and clubhouse grounds.
• Ensure health and sustainability of turfgrass with proper applications.
• Oversee on-course projects and development with the Superintendent.
• Understand irrigation systems and pump house operations.
• Repair and troubleshoot irrigation issues.
• Collaborate with Agronomy team to ensure facility success.
• Maintain grounds per Cabot cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Coordinate golf course improvements and maintenance programs.
