A major mining company in Baker Lake is seeking an Assistant Superintendent, Engineering to manage the Underground Engineering team and ensure productivity in accordance with safety standards. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering and at least 8 years of underground mine engineering experience. Responsibilities include supervising staff, overseeing mine planning, and leading recruitment initiatives. Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, you will be part of the Engineering Department and will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.
Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest.
A 10/10 or 7/7 schedule is also possible.
Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
