Job summary

Spencer's in Peterborough is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help establish and maintain Guest Services. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

The minimum age is 18.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and or management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Guest Services.
• Support the Store Manager in store operations to maximize sales and profitability.
• Develop staff, control expenses and shrinkage, and manage merchandising and inventory control.
• The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.
• The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job description

Hourly rate ranges from $19.60 - $19.85 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
