Rexall is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Whistler, BC. The role focuses on leading store sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and managing HR activities to develop a high-performing team within a community-focused Rexall culture.

You will collaborate with the Front Store Manager to meet budgeted targets, drive health-care product knowledge, and implement local marketing initiatives while upholding safety and loss-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within a retail environment.
• 1-2 years experience within a retail environment.
• Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to adapt to change.
• Proven customer service skills and effective communication skills.
• Previous experience in reviewing & analyzing financial reports.

Responsabilités

• Lead store sales with energy and strong communication to be seen as a Canadian leader in pharmacy health care.
• Assist HR activities including recruitment, training, staff development, evaluations, discipline, and handling union issues where applicable.
• Ensure exceptional customer service/patient care for the store.
• Assist the Front Store Manager in achieving budgeted sales, gross profit, EBITDA, inventory targets, labour costs, shrink and controllable store expenses.
• Develop subject matter expertise at store level in Health and Wellness, merchandising, loss prevention, Health and Safety, and patient care.
• Adhere to marketing programs and initiatives, including pricing, merchandising, planograms, and local advertising.
• This role is filling an existing vacancy on the team.
