Lindt & Sprüngli in the Greater Montreal area seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations of the Lindt Chocolate Shop and uphold our premium brand standards. You will support sales goals, mentor sales associates, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.

The role requires 1-2 years of retail management, strong leadership, and a passion for chocolate.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience: 1–2 years required; 2–5 years in retail is a plus.
• Hospitality/restaurant background is preferred.
• Merchandising or presentation experience is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and sales focus with leadership ability.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

We are looking to connect with qualified candidates for future Assistant Store Manager opportunities within the Greater Montreal area.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the management of the daily operations of Lindt Chocolate ShopAssist with generating and driving corporate salesUphold the values of exemplary customer service through modeling of behaviour and establishing appropriate guidelinesMonitor sales and labour issues on a daily basis with a goal to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer serviceAssist with recruitment including interviewing and hiring of Retail Sales AssociatesSupervision of store employees to maximize customer service, sales and profitAssist with training of sales techniques and product knowledgeTimely ordering of merchandise and supplies with focus on overall inventory management and loss preventionDaily reconciling of cash with sales receipts, daily paperwork and accounting, payroll and other store administrationDevelop and utilize full knowledge of all products and sales information with a constant focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expensesAssist with on-going performance management of staff, assist in the preparation and delivery of employee performance reviewsMaintain store merchandising presentation to company standardsMaintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safetyResponsible for cash handling, inventory ordering and related retail administrative dutiesQualificationsPost Secondary Education1-2 years of experience in a retail management role with 2-5 years of retail experiencePrevious experience working in the hospitality/restaurant industry is preferredPrevious experience in a merchandising or presentation capacityAbility to multi task and manage multiple projects in a timely mannerExcellent customer service skillsStrong oral and written communication abilitiesStrong computer proficiency in MS OfficeA history of going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer serviceA talent for sales and sellingA passion for chocolate!Rewards PackageThe standard hiring range for this role is $49,000-$60,000 CAD per annum with a 10% performance-based bonus. The final agreement upon salary may vary based on market location and factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.We offer a competitive rewards package for our employees as well as a growth-oriented work environment.
