Job summary

No Frills in Calgary is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will drive performance, staff development, and effective communication across teams to meet business goals.

You will recruit and schedule employees, manage inventory and merchandising, coordinate with buyers, and uphold health and safety standards while promoting inclusive, customer‑focused service in our Calgary store.

• Planning and implementing events successfully.
• Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates.
• Scheduling employees efficiently to improve productivity, profitability and margins.
• Continuously training staff effectively to encourage them to meet company standards.
• Pursue succession planning to ensure that employees are constantly developed to fill each needed role.
• Ensure employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures.
