Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, drive customer satisfaction, and hit sales targets. You will serve as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence and lead the team to deliver consistent Store performance.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, merchandising, stocking, cash management, training and coaching, performance evaluations, enforcing safety and policies, and maintaining visual standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail experience minimum.
• Two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
