Job summary

Horseshoe Resort in Ontario is seeking an Assistant Snow or Ski School Instructor to support certified instructors and help guests enjoy the slopes. This seasonal role is ideal for someone starting a career in ski instruction and seeking on-the-job training with certification support.

You’ll assist with lessons, help organize Snow School programs, and ensure a safe, engaging experience for guests of all ages. Weekend and holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• Passion for skiing or snowboarding and desire to teach others.
• Basic to intermediate skiing/snowboarding ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified Ski Instructors in delivering ski lessons to guests of varying skill levels.
• Support students during lessons with encouragement, demonstrations, and personalized assistance.
• Help set up and organize Snow School programs, including group lessons and events.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
• Communicate effectively with guests, instructors, and supervisors to ensure smooth lesson operations.

Position Summary

We areseeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Assistant Ski/Snowboard Instructors. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are interested in pursuing a career in ski instruction but do not yet have formal certifications. Gain valuable experience, participate in on-the-job training, be eligible for certification financial assistance and help guests of all ages enjoy their time on the slopes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist certified Ski Instructors in delivering ski lessons to guests of varying skill levels.
