Job description

British Red Cross is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager to join their friendly team in Elgin and help create a shop that is the window of the charity on the high street.

You will work closely with the Shop Manager to run a customer focussed store, supporting everything from creating a welcoming shopping environment to organising activity behind the scenes.

You will play a key role in coordinating and supporting an enthusiastic team of volunteers, helping with induction, development and daily guidance.

You will bring retail experience, confidence with customers, strong IT skills and an understanding of financial targets.

You will also be someone who enjoys working with people and contributing to a positive community space.

You should also be flexible to the needs of the store.

The closing date for applications is 23.59 on Monday 29 December 2025.

Interviews take place week commencing 12 January 2026.
