Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd – Outram We are seeking a dedicated and proactive AV Facilities Management (AVFM) Assistant Service Engineer to oversee the operations, maintenance, and performance of audiovisual (AV) systems and AV-related facilities. This role focuses solely on the functionality and upkeep of AV equipment and environments at client sites or venues, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and user satisfaction.
Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance for AV systems including displays, projectors, sound systems, AV racks, control processors, and conferencing equipment.
Ensure the readiness, cleanliness, and operational integrity of AV rooms, event spaces, control rooms, and media walls.
Oversee daily AV operations to ensure system reliability and seamless user experiences.
Provide technical support and perform first-level troubleshooting for AV-related faults.
Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify and address recurring issues.
Maintain detailed documentation, including AV asset inventories, system diagrams, maintenance logs, and service reports.
Liaise with AV vendors, OEMs, and system integrators for servicing, repairs, or system upgrades.
Support AV setups, rehearsals, and live operations for onsite events and functions as required.
Ensure all AV work and environments adhere to workplace safety standards and client-specific requirements.
Contribute to the documentation of AV workflows, SOPs, and best practices.
Diploma or equivalent certification in Audio Visual Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in AV systems and components.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a site-based team.
Willing to work on rotational shifts, be on standby, or support events on weekends/public holidays, depending on operational needs.
