Job summary

EA SPORTS FC Vancouver is seeking an Assistant Producer in Business Operations to collaborate with Publishing, Marketing, and Release Management for live event promotions. You will draft player communications and support cross-functional teams across time zones, including Shanghai and Australia.

The role emphasizes organizing promotions, producing clear game communications, and ensuring alignment with legal/licensing requirements within a dynamic mobile game ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in games development or games social media as a social media manager, producer, game designer, or equivalent.
• Production or design experience on a live service game.
• Experience writing copy for in-game events or player-first communications.
• Communications experience drafting copy for games or for a major social media account.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with central organisations on behalf of the Development Team to manage and organise live event promotions.
• Draft messaging for players and provide operational support to cross-functional teams.
• Write in-game communications that address users' needs and audience.
• Provide guidance on communications to inform fans and players.
• Draft engaging marketing copy that meets legal/licensing requirements and reflects the game value.
• Review in-game copy for campaigns and tutorials, improving tone for an English-reading audience.
• Coordinate marketing deliverables with global teams to ensure quality and success.
• Identify opportunities to grow live operations services and tools with partner groups.
