What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with our Store Updates team to manage brand assortments, ensuring timely and productive updates across our brand portfolios.
  • Manage vendor relationships by overseeing price changes, testers and damages, Return to Vendor (RTV), and compliance submissions
  • Review and approve all in-store brand visual elements, including the management of planograms for brands and multi-branded spaces
  • Oversee SKU creation and maintenance, price updates, Invoice Review Queue, product launches and delists, and markdown chargebacks while supporting field teams with category-related issues via our Hotline Online tool
  • Partner with the Planning team, DotCa, and Sephora US to support inventory and sales forecasting
What You’ll Bring:
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in retail management or a related field and 2+ years of experience as a buyer, merchandiser, or planner for a major retailer
  • You are curious and eager to take calculated risks to source and develop new opportunities to grow the business
  • You are passionate about products (beauty is your jam!), have a strong understanding of consumer trends and behaviour, and inspire fearlessness in everything that you do
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • You've mastered the art of negotiation and love solving problems using your analytical skills
  • You're technically savvy and have experience using merchant systems and MS Office suite
  • You understand the Canadian marketplace and corresponding vendor organization, and you have knowledge of the Canadian cosmetic industry, including Health Canada regulations and product compliance requirements
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) is an asset
