Warehouse Assistant Manager

The Assistant Warehouse Manager (Afternoon Shift) supports warehouse operations by supervising staff, managing workflow, and ensuring accurate, timely movement of goods during the afternoon shift. This role works closely with the Warehouse Manager to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards across all warehouse functions. Lower Mainland Vancouver area.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily afternoon shift operations, including picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Supervise, train, and support warehouse associates to meet performance and safety goals.
  • Monitor workflow, address operational issues, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits.
  • Coordinate shift handovers to ensure smooth transitions between day and night operations.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards and cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare reports and communicate shift performance to management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work afternoon / evening hours.

Salary in the 82-90,000 range.
