Job description
Assistant Manager (Quality Control QC | Manufacturing | Food Science)

Basic $4,500 – $5,000 +AWS + Variable Bonus

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:45pm

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage QC operations, including manpower planning and inventory control.
  • Coordinate quality-related activities with Production, Warehouse, Shipping, R&D, and Sales teams.
  • Maintain and update QC documentation, including laboratory manuals, risk assessments, and QEMS/FSSC systems.
  • Ensure proper calibration, testing, and maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Monitor product quality trends and support troubleshooting of quality issues.
  • Plan and conduct training programs to develop QC staff competency.
  • Manage external laboratory testing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Uphold Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), 5S, and safety standards in all QC areas.
  • Ensure and enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), company safety policies, and all relevant legal and risk management requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Identify, assess, and reduce safety and health risks in QC operations.
  • Participate in safety programs, training, and incident investigations.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirement

Possess Bachelor's degree in relevant field like Chemistry or Food Science with 5 years related job working experience.
