Job summary

Dollar Tree Canada in Leamington, Ontario is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and manage merchandising transfer from delivery trucks to stockrooms and sales floor.

The role includes opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining displays, ordering merchandise, payroll/scheduling, loss prevention and ensuring a safe, clean store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
