The successful candidate will lead maintenance programs, ensure workplace safety compliance, and oversee automotive service operations. A diploma or degree in Facilities Management or Engineering along with leadership experience is required. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.

Facilities Maintenance
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
  • Manage maintenance programs and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Schedule and monitor all maintenance works and contractor performance.
  • Propose and coordinate facility upgrading and remodeling projects.
  • Review departmental budget and drive cost-effectiveness.
Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)
  • Develop and implement safe work procedures aligned with WSH standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Drive risk management plans and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain WSH records and provide safety guidance to staff and management.
Fire Safety Management
  • Carry out duties as required under the Fire Safety Act and SCDF guidelines.
  • Conduct daily fire checks and remove identified fire hazards.
  • Implement fire safety procedures and conduct regular fire drills.
  • Review contractors’ risk assessments for compliance and adequacy.
Automotive Service Management
  • Lead and supervise workshop operations for quality servicing and repairs.
  • Manage mechanics and ensure adherence to safety and service standards.
  • Oversee customer service and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Monitor KPIs, turnaround time, and spare part availability.
  • Drive process improvements and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Certified Fire Safety Manager (SCDF recognized).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant facilities or automotive management experience.
  • Strong understanding of WSH and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
