Qualifications
- Experience in an industrial setting is required.
- Grade 12 is an asset.
- Forklift certification is required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required.
- First Aid / CPR certification is an asset.
- Working knowledge of OH&S regulations in an industrial setting is essential.
- Solid understanding of the operation and maintenance of production equipment is essential.
- Basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office is required.
Responsibilities
- Supervising personnel on the plant floor ensuring safe work practices.
- Maintaining inventory of Central Store supplies.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving.
- Assisting the Processing Manager with employee performance evaluations.
- Assuming the duties of the Lead Hand in their absence.
- Attending training and workshops.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Skills
Experience in an industrial setting
Forklift certification
Working knowledge of OH&S regulations
Basic working knowledge of computers
Strong degree of professionalism
Education
Grade 12
